Islamabad: Bomb blast ripped through a commercial complex in Peshawar city of northwest Pakistan today, killing one person and injuring nearly 30 others, police said.
The explosion occurred within the building at Arbab Road. SSP (Operations) Tahir Ayyub told the media that the blast was caused by a bomb hidden in a motorcycle.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital. The blast blew out windows of nearby buildings and damaged about 20 shops. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion. PTI
