Knowledge of programming languagues (C++, Java) will be an added benefit. It is advantageous to understand photography, lighting and movement for those planning to work in computer animation. They must be able to visualise how an object will look in three dimensions and have the know-how to make an animated object look real.

Latest Animation Techniques:
There are variety of animation techniques and the basics skills of animation has to be learnt at the earliest before starting a career in animation. There are majorly two types of techniques in demand. They are:
CD/ 2D (classical animation): 2 dimensional animation deals more with drawing and framing and is the base of 3d animation. 2D animators mostly work on paper, creating frames to define a sequence that are then moved at varying speeds to create the illusion of  motion.

3D : It has more depth compared to 2d animation It appears more realistic. And  till now it has the largest monopoly over animation industry.Right from film, advertising, and video gaming all are flourishing like through 3d animation.

In America they spent 100 – 175 million dollars in animation sector but in India with the same kind of it spents 15- 25 million dollars. It can be a great   outsourcing for India. According to NASSCOM  report in the year animation industry is growing at the rate of  22% .
