Policy regarding recruitment of Group C (LDC-2,Store Keeper-1,Electrician-1,Head Cook-1)and Group D(Mess Helper-1,Sweeper-1,Chowkidar-1,Sweeper Cum Chowkidar-1) staff .

All the above mentioned post will be recruited by the concerned Principal of the School and he is the only person whose decision works. The principals are not following the proper laid down procedures they are simply taking 3 lakhs for group C post and 2 lakhs for group D post which is now had became the only criteria for the selection.

If this is the only criteria then how we can expect the persons which got simply bribing the authority will be performing the best of their calibre and the right persons roaming here n there for employment and thus we expect to implement right to education properly.

Quantum of the corruption. Total no of Navodaya Vidyalayas is more than 500 This means total of 2500 Group C posts and 2000 Group D posts Thus making illegal money in the system is Rs.750000000/- and 400000000/- total Rs.1150000000/- This money is not only held by the principals but is also distributed between top to bottom of the organisation.

This is only the single facet of the corrupt dice the money for the student’s meals is not being utilized properly; students accommodation is not properly maintained due to lack of money the students are not getting the right for which they are entitled.
