Pakistani fighter jets pounded several Taliban hideouts on Sunday, killing 16 militants and injuring several more in north-western tribal region near Afghan border. An intelligence official said the airstrikes destroyed eight positions of the Islamist insurgents and one ammunition depot in various areas of Orakzai tribal district.
