New Delhi, March 5: Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was in no mood to pardon. He minced no words as he pointed out the follies one by the UPA regime. His accusations were backed by analyses and research. Taking a dig at the former PM Manmohan Singh he said, "Under the so called economist Prime Minister Manomhan Singh, the entire banking system went haywire due to all kinds of interference with it. Congress has been indulging in the politics of fear and confusion in the last 4 years."
Ravi Shankar Prasad also attacked P Chidambaram on UPA's gold import scheme. "On May 16, 2014, an order was passed by the then Finance Minister to provide benefits to seven private companies. Gitanjali was one of the seven companies," he said.
1. UPA's intentions were not right
It needs to be said that on several occasions UPA did not allow correct data to be entered into bank records. Advances (to banks), in UPA regime were not recorded in the books.
