130 schools in Bengaluru closed over Leopard scare

Bengaluru: The Karnataka state government has asked as many as 130 schools in Bengaluru city to remain closed on Thursday as a precautionary measure following the Leopard scare.

A decision on reopening the schools is likely to be taken in a review meeting after the Forest Department submits a report later today.

A leopard had entered Vibgyor School on February 7 and injured three forest department personnel before it was tranquilised after a day-long operation.
