5 cricketers who are crorepati without playing for India

Uncapped players were not to be left behind when it came to bidding in the  IPL player auction. Not only did they have takers, some of the players saw some heated bidding by the teams too.

There were 30 uncapped Indian players purchased at the 2017 IPL auction, Here's five among them who made it large:

T NATARAJAN (Rs 3 crore, Kings XI Punjab)

The little known 25-year-old's life changed in a matter of few minutes as Rs 10 lakh base price saw a quantum 30-time jump reaching Rs 3 crore with Virender Sehwag vigorously raising the pedal for Kings XI Punjab.

MOHAMMAD SIRAJ (Rs 2.6 crore, Sunrisers Hyderabad)

22-year-old Mohammad Siraj, turned out to be the surprise package going for Rs 2.6 crore to the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

K GOWTHAM (Rs 2 crore, Mumbai Indians)

Krishnappa Gowtham has been one of the few surprise bids in the 2017 auction so far. The Karnataka cricketer came into the auction at a base price of Rs 10 lakh and was picked up by the Mumbai Indians for a whopping Rs 2 crore.

ANIKET CHOUDHARY (Rs 2 crore, Royal Challengers Bangalore)

 Rajasthan fast-bowler Aniket Choudhary was bagged for a Rs 2 crore.He is a left-arm fast bowler who can work up decent pace and bounce on a regular basis. He was recently in the news for his role for India A, taking four wickets in the warm-up game against Bangladesh.

MURUGAN ASHWIN (Rs 1 crore, Delhi Daredevils)

 Ashwin, 26, finished the recent Inter State Twenty20 Tournament with six wickets in five matches with an economy of 6.85, and four in four Syed Mushtaq Ali games.
