New Delhi: The Delhi government has decided to build a memorial for Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at Dilli Haat, INA.
The memorial, which will house personal belongings of Dr. Kalam including books and sepctacles, will be opened to public on July 27, his death anniversary.
"Going to Rameshwaram tmrw to bring back belongings & personal possessions of Kalam Sir. Finally Delhi will hv his Memorial. We miss you Sir," Delhi Culture Minister Kapil Mishra tweeted.
"The belongings will be taken to Delhi from Rameswaram through trucks. They will be kept inside the Delhi Assembly till July 27 and thereafter, they will be permanently placed at Dilli Haat, INA where his memorial would be constructed," Mishra told the media.
