Abhishek starts 'Manmarziyan'
Actor Abhishek Bachchan has started filming for his upcoming film "Manmarziyan", directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Abhishek on Thursday took to Twitter and shared a photograph of the script.
"Almost time... 'Manmarziyan'," Abhishek captioned the image.
The film, directed by Kashyap and presented by Aanand L. Rai, also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.
Taapsee in an interview to IANS had said the film "is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L. Rai and Anurag Kashyap".
This will be the first time that Abhishek will be collaborating with Taapsee for a project.
Could this be a new phase of his career?
This is because at the start of his career, Abhishek Bachchan was a part of a lot of romance films and family dramas. This was followed by a more serious phase where he did sturdier roles in films such as Yuva, Dhoom and Guru. Since then, he has done Rohit Shetty-type films, more Dhoom films and various types of mainstream cinema. And like always, some of it has worked and some hasn't.
During his career, the actor has done a lot of good movies and a lot of flop ones. And because of that he’s loved and hated and everything else in the middle.
But, against all the critics that pitted him against his father, he has done what many thought he wouldn’t be able to do: he has made a name for himself— inspiting of having to partage the name with his superstar father.
