New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday transferred Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) chief MK Meena along with 24 other Delhi Police officials in a major reshuffle in the force in wake of the JNU incident
ACB chief Meena has been shunted out to Andaman and Nicobar Islands and will be relieving the charge on April 1.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Prem Nath, who is handling a number of high-profile cases, including the Sunanda Pushkar death case, has been shifted to Mizoram.
Other officials who have been transferred include Joint Commissioner of Police (Central range) SK Gautam and Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Muktesh Chander. While Mr. Gautam has been transferred to Puducherry, Mr. Chander has been moved to Goa.
