After surgical strikes, Modi Govt may ground Pak airlines

New Delhi: Surgical strikes may just be the beginning of Pakistan's woes. Now the Narendra Modi government is considering to ground the Pakistan airlines. The Prime Minister Office is reportedly reviewing the air links. The government may decide to ban PIA flights to India. PIA operates a total of five flights per week on Delhi-Lahore, Mumbai-Karachi and Delhi-Karachi routes, while no Indian airline flies to Pakistan. 

PMO is also considering to ban Pakistan airlines over Indian skies. Pakistan airline fly over Indian airspace en-route to S Asian countries. A final decision will be taken only after studying the impact on Indian airlines which fly over Pakistan en-route to Gulf, North America and Europe.
