Ahead of April Fool's Day, prank caller threatens to 'blow up' Kejriwal

New Delhi: Ahead of April Fool's Day, an unidentified person called the Police Control Room (PCR) on Wednesday evening threatening to "blow up" Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in an hour.

"The control room received the call at around 4.30 PM and the caller told the police to do whatever they can to save Kejriwal and that he would blow him up in an hour," a senior police official said.

Following the call, an alert was sounded and security was stepped up at the Secretariat and CM's residence.

However, the police later declared it a "prank call".

The call was made through Voice over Internet Protocol and the officials are trying to trackdown the unidentified caller.
