Ahmedabad: Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel has been giving sleepless nights to the officials of the Gujarat police.
Gujarat Police have filed a 2,700-page charge-sheet against the Patel agitation leader at a local court in Ahmedabad in much hyped sedition case.
In its charge-sheet, the police have given details of the 42 telephonic conversations between Hardik, his associates and his supporters, statements of 503 witnesses and reports of the forensic science lab, certifying the veracity of the calls made by him.
The police have also named his three of his associates Chirag Patel, Ketan Patel and Dinesh Bhamaniya as absconders under sections 121 A and 124 A of IPC for sedition and waging war against the government.
The charge-sheet comes at a time when Hardik Patel in a statement outside the Surat court said that he would continue the protest once he was out of the jail.
Hardik and 14 other PAAS leaders have been in custody since October 18 last year on various charges.
He was brought to a local court in Surat last week after the Surat police filed a 370-page charge-sheet against him in an another sedition case.
