Aircraft with 23 people on board goes missing in Nepal

Kathmandu: A passenger flight with twenty-three people on board went missing in the mountains of Nepal on early Wednesday morning.

Tara Twin-Otter plane took off from Pokhara at around 7:50 am and was on way to JomSom when it lost contact with the control tower.

A Nepal Army helicopter was immediately dispatched to carry out search operation.

According to a report in The Himalayan Times, the plane reportedly crashed Nepal’s Myagdi district in Western Nepal.
