New Delhi: After having a long time invested in a string of movies, Alia Bhatt took a little break from her work and decided to spend some quality and sweet time with her friends and family. Not only this, the 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' actress was said to be engaging her time by picking up new hobbies in her break.
When asked about her 'mini break' in a media conference, Alia stated "I think when I am tired, I just need about 10 days to recover, and then I am fine. After that, I need to get back on my feet and start working. When I was on a break, I made [good] use of that time and wasn’t complaining too much."
When asked about her starve for work during the break, she replied and said "Yes, initially, I was complaining a bit, but I get these bouts and I am like, ‘I want to work. Get me on to a set (laughs)’. And when I say ‘working’, I don’t mean my live events and ad shoots."
Alia claims that movies will always be her first love and that non-film commitments are work and go hand in hand. She further added, "Of course, that also works for me, but my true calling and my core job as an actor is shooting for a film and playing a character. That’s what I think my life is all about, so that’s something that I need to do constantly."
On the work front, Alia is reported ending her break and shooting for Meghna Gulzar's 'Raazi', where Alia will be seen playing a role of an Indian spy married to a Pakistani.
