WITH THE REVISED PRICE OF RS 58,002 (EX-SHOWROOM, DELHI), THE BAJAJ PULSAR 135LS IS ALL SET TO TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE HONDA CB SHINE AND THE HERO GLAMOUR.
Bajaj Auto has decreased the price of its Pulsar 135LS by around Rs 5,500. Earlier, the motorcycle was retailed at around Rs 63,500 while its official website is now showing the revised price of Rs. 58,002 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The revised price of the bike is now closer to those of the bestselling 125cc motorcycles in the market, the Honda CB Shine and the Hero Glamour. So, the Bajaj Pulsar 135LS now becomes a stronger player in its segment, offering more features and better performance at a more competitive price.
Compared to the Honda CB Shine and the Hero Glamour the Bajaj Pulsar 135LS gets a sportier design with split seat and clip-on handlebars. But the most important feature is its advanced 134.66cc 4-valve DTS-i engine that makes 13.56PS of maximum power at 9,000rpm, which is much higher compared to its competitors that deliver between 9-11PS. The Pulsar 135 delivers a peak torque of 11.4Nm at 7,500rpm while the competitors produce around 10.3Nm. Also, the Bajaj offers a 5-speed gearbox while the other motorcycles in this segment come with a 4-speed unit.
Besides the style and the performance the Bajaj Pulsar 135LS gets better equipment as well. The bike features a 100/90 section rear tyre, gas charged Nitrox rear suspension, LED tail lamp, twin pilot lamps, and a better designed digital-analog instrument cluster. It also comes with a front disc brake as standard and returns almost similar fuel economy as compared to the competitors. So looking at the overall benefits that Bajaj is offering, the Pulsar 135LS surely looks a better option against the competition at the same price point.
