Big B Lends his voice for 102 Not Out

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for a song titled "Badumba" for his upcoming film "102 Not Out".

"Sung a song and composed it for '102 Not Out'. Rehearsals on with the great Ganesh... its 'BAADDUUUMBAAAA'! Trust me," Amitabh tweeted on Wednesday. Amitabh, 75, also wrote on his blog about the song. The film also stars veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.

Amitabh's character will be seen as a 102-year-old father to 75-year-old character of Rishi in the film, directed by Umesh Shukla. The film will release on May 4.

Despite lending his vocals to some hit numbers for his Bollywood films, Amitabh Bachchan claims that he isn't a singer.

Just 7 days back, the actor had sung the aarti during Ganesh Chaturthi at the Siddhivinayak Temple. However, after that, he said to  “Singing isn't a career option for me, primarily because it isn't my domain, nor am I accomplished enough to make it one. Yes, various stages of my film career have been witness to that odd ditty, but there is nothing more to it.”

It is quite common for celebrities gracing their voice for the movie. This has become a mode of promotion for their respective movies. It makes us feel closer to them also!
