India expects Pakistani strike: Wagah border closed, villages along border being evacuated

New Delhi:  After the surgical strikes by  commandoes of the Indian Special Forces across the LoC, the Narendra Modi government is expecting a retaliatory strike by  Pakistan.  To avoid causalities , the government has ordered  the evacuation of all the villages with 10 kilometres of the international border. 
The  schools in the border villages have been closed, and leaves of doctors and medical staff in the hospitals of the area too have been cancelled.

The Indian establishment expects the Pakistani strikes to happen in Rajasthan or Punjab.
BSF deployment along the border has been increased, Wagah and Hussaniwala borders have been closed. Beating Retreat ceremony at wagah too has been cancelled. Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Jaisalmer on Oct 7 to review the security and take inputs on the Pakistan military exercise being conducted along the international  border near rajasthan.
