Sex tape scandal: Former AAP minister Sandeep Kumar surrenders, women lodges police complaint

New Delhi: In a fresh twist to the alleged sex scandal, ousted AAP minister Sandeep Kumar on Saturday surrendered in the DCP office in Rohini after the woman in the tape lodged a police complaint earlier today.

The woman allegedly told police that the suspended AAP lawmaker had offered her a 'cold drink laced with drugs' when she had reportedly gone to him for an issue related to her ration card.

“I have no clue whatsoever happened after I consumed that drink,” the woman added.

Earlier in the day, AAP suspended Sandeep Kumar from the party after the emergence of an "objectionable" CD that emerged, he was shown in a compromising position with a woman.

The suspension came nearly four days after the decision to remove the 36-year-old minister was taken at a high-level meeting attended by top AAP leaders. Kumar was the former Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister.
