New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Oct 13: On Friday Samajwadi Secular Morcha founder Shivpal Yadav was an elated man as he was given former chief minister Mayawati's Bungalow and now the news is pouring in that the blessings will be showered on 'Kunde Ka Raja and bahubali' Raghuraj Pratap Singh or Raja Bhaiya. If initial reports are an indication then in all likelihood he will be given Former CM Akhilesh Yadav's bungalow. Now two dissidents getting bungalows of two former chief ministers cannot be a sheer coincidence.Things just don't stop here. After allotment of BSP chief Mayawati's vacated bungalow, chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to give his recommendation for a Z plus security to Samajwadi Secular Morcha founder Shivpal Yadav.According to sources, an alleged security threat to Yadav could be the reason for the increased security. A recent Intelligence Bureau report mentioned about the security issues of the Morcha founder, which was also cited to allot Mayawati's vacated bungalow to the Jaswantnagar MLA.Presently, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, his father Mulayam Singh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati have the Z plus security cover. The move to extend the security to Akhilesh's uncle has drawn opposition's ire as many have already questioned CM Yogi's decision to allocate the sprawling bungalow to him.The bungalow situated at 6 Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg was earlier allotted to Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati and was vacated after the orders of the Supreme Court. However, there were also rumours that the BJP is pleasing Shivpal Yadav as they want to widen the rift between the Yadav family ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. The Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya has also said some time back that Shivpal Yadav should merge his party with the BJP.Why sudden attention to Raja Bhaiya:
MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh, who is fondly called Raja Bhaiya by his followers is a popular leader and all tongues started wagging when he was seen sharing the stage with the UP CM Yogi Adityanath a couple of days back. The same reason is being seen behind Yogi government's reported decision of handing over BSP supremo's bungalow. Once upon a time, Raja Bhaiya was very close to the Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. But the then CM Akhilesh Yadav was never very fond of him had clearly indicated the widening rift with the 'Bahubali'. According to reports, Raja Bhaiya is all set to float his new party and he will be announcing this on his birthday October 31. Yogi knows that the BJP-SP combo can be fatal once again as it happened during the Lok Sabha bypolls and he is in no mood to take any chanmce. With Shivpal and Raja Bhaiya coming out with their new respective parties, CM Yogi wants them to be in his camp as both Shivpal and Raja Bhaiya are strong leaders with strong local support. By this move, Yogi wants to minimise the intensity of BSP-SP combo.A few days back Raja Bhaiya was seen sharing stage with CM Yogi:Things changed when Mulayam Yadav was sidelined in his own party and he could not be the apple of Akhilesh Yadav's eyes. In the 2012 assembly election, Mulayam had entrusted Raja Bhaiya with the responsibility of campaigning extensively for SP across the state especially in Thakur dominated seats. When Mayawati was in power Raja Bhaiya was sent behind bars two times. Seeing his popular base, CM Yogi may have a reason to take interest in him. Raja Bhaiya was seen on the same dais, standing next to CM Yogi during the release of a book on former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar on his 91st birth anniversary at vidhan sabha. Raja Bhaiya has reigned supreme over Kunda assembly segment since 1993 winning the seat with huge margins.
Lok Sabha bypoll results have made BJP nervous:Lok Sabha bypolls in Gorakhpur and Phulpur and the Rajya Sabha elections were major testing grounds for the BSP and the SP to assess the potential for their new bonhomie and judge the public appetite for any future alliance. And they emerged with flying colours. And one should not forget that these Lok Sabha seats were vacated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his deputy Keshav Prasad Maurya after the UP assembly polls last year. Gorakhpur is chief minister Adityanath's home turf. The results were a major shock for the BJP and it was being predicted that this 'Bua-Bhatija' combo will prove detrimental for the BJP.
