New Delhi, Jan 19: Samsung Galaxy S9 has already grabbed a thousand eyeballs before its unveiling which is scheduled to launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in February, and with this new leak and rumours are in the market to reveal the exact launch date as well as pre-order and shipping dates. As per reports, Samsung expected to come with two models - the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, which are said to compete against Apple's flagship iPhone X.
As per reports Samsung's first flagship smartphone of 2018 will be unveiled at MWC, which is scheduled for February 26 to March 1 and sale date for Samsung Galaxy S9 series will be announced at the event itself.
Some reports also suggest that the company will launch both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 26 and both smartphones will be available for pre-orders from March 3 and shipping will start from March 16.
If specifications are concerned both smartphones are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in the US markets while the newly launched Exynos 9810 SoC will be featured international markets, including India. Reports also suggest that pricing of both the devices will be lowest in China as compared with around the world. For photography, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is rumoured to have a single rear camera setup, while the Galaxy S9+ might get a dual camera setup. The major highlight of the leak is that Galaxy S9+ may come with 512GB internal storage which will be cleared at the launch. One the battery front, Galaxy S9+ will be backed by the same battery capacity as those of last year's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, respectively.
