Chinese incursion in Uttarakhand border, confirms Harish Rawat

New Delhi/Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Wednesday confirmed an incursion by Chinese troops into Chamoli district of the state. Pinning the hope on the Centre to resolve the issue, Rawat said the NDA government should take cognizance of the infiltration. Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, however, said that the intrusion will be confirmed once a report is submitted to the Union Government on the same. Uttarakhand shares a 350 kilometer long boundary with China and there have been similar attempts even in the past.
