Constitutional crisis hits Maharashtra

The Opposition has alleged its Violation of Indian Constitution and Governor's Order. 

Protest continued for the 5th time in Maharashtra Assembly for the 5th time for nearly 10 minutes demanding the resignation og Minister Prakash Mehta and suspension of IAS officer Radhey Shyam Mopalwar.

Earlier on wednesday, embers of the ruling BJP and the Shiv Sena staged a walkout in the Legislative Council today, as combative opposition continued to demand the sacking of Maharashtra Housing Minister Prakash Mehta, under the scanner in a slum rehabilitation project. 

Complaining that the Opposition members were not allowing the ministers and legislators to speak, the ruling BJP-Sena members walked out in protest. 

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in the Assembly, "We will order an investigation against Radheshyam Moppal and the investigation will be completed within a month. A decision has been taken to remove him from his post." 

.Radheshyam Moppal was the MD and vice chairman of MSRDC, and was handling the responsibility of Chief Minister's Dream Project Prosperity Highway.
