New Delhi: Delhi’s Patiala House court on Saturday sent the three alleged ISIS sympathizers to a 10-day NIA custody till February 9.
According to reports, the three men- Adnan Hussain, Mohammad Farhan and Sheikh Azhar Al Islam, were arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after they were deported from Abu Dhabi on January 29.
The three are suspected to be allegedly involved in a conspiracy to identify, motivate, radicalize, recruit and train Indian citizens, located in India and abroad, for planning and executing terror attacks in India and other countries.
The three suspects have been charged under Section 120b of the IPC along with Section 18, 18-A and 18-B under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, DNA reported.
Adnan Hussain, who hails from Karnataka, Mohammad Farhan from Maharashtra and Sheikh Azhar Al Islam from Jammu and Kashmir, were produced before the Delhi court amid tight security.
NIA sought custodial interrogation of the three accused during the in-camera proceedings saying that they were required to be interrogated to unearth the entire conspiracy to carry out terror strikes.
