Delhi witnessed a cloudy Tuesday morning as rain/thundershower lashed the national Capital yesterday. The morning temperature settled at 23.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
The official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said, "The sky will remain partly cloudy and rain/thundershower is likely to occur in some parts of Delhi and NCR region."
Rains brought a respite in Delhi by bringing the temperature down, according to the weather office.
Delhi recorded a rainfall of 10.2 mm between 8.30 a.m. on Monday and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, said the official. Humidity remained at 74 percent at 8:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, Monday's maximum temperature recorded at 40.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while minimum temperature settled at 30.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
