New Delhi, Nov 14: Mahi may have not find place in the T20 squad against Australia, but he has got better things to do it seems. The former Indian captain is making the best of the breather he has got. He has now decided to have a go at Kabbadi. Yes, you have heard it right..Mahi is now trying to be a Kabbadi mascot.
Dhoni made his debut on the Kabbadi mat by shooting a promotional video for the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2018 in Mumbai. With no assignments in international cricket this year, Mahi is enjoying chanting 'Chal Kabbadi..Chal Kabbadi'
The pictures of Mahi trying his hands and legs at kabaddi are going viral. The king of helicopter shot is now pulling off the famous Kabbadi celebration with elan as can be seen in the pictures.
Earlier, Mahi was dropped for the T20 series against the West Indies and Australia series. The decision to drop Dhoni came after he failed with the bat in ODIs. In the last few months, Dhoni was seen struggling with the bat and the selectors wanted to try out Rishab Pant before the World Cup.
After a fairly successfull IPL, Dhoni was quite ordinary with the bat in series against England. His poor form continued in the Asia Cup where he managed just 77 runs in 4 matches at an average of just 19.55. Then again he failed with the bat in the ODI series against West Indies.
Dhoni will now be seen in action against Australia next year, just before World Cup. We wish him best of luck.
