Director replaces Ranbir Kapoor with Varun Dhawan

New Delhi: B-town stars have always faced a competition from each other and like every human being they are hungry for work. This time the competition of work was between the leading actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. 


Ranbir, who has recently been seen in his most awaited movie 'Jagga Jasoos' opposite Katrina Kaif, is earning well at the box office. According to reports, the actor was about to be a part of 'Sui Dhaaga: Made In India' as he was very keen on working with director Sharat Katariya who also directed ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. But later on, he backed out from the film. As he backed out, the director approached to Varun Dhawan and he immediately said yes to it.


Talking about 'Sui Dhaaga', Varun had earlier said, “From Gandhiji to Modiji, our country’s leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With SUI DHAAGA I am proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a manner that is entertaining and relevant."


The movie which is slated to release on Gandhi Jayanti 2018 also features Anushka Sharma.
