New Delhi: A decision by Indian Airlines is being seen as the one which is very discriminatory. How else would one interpret AI's decision of not serving non-veg food to the economy class while the same privilege will be extended to the business class.
National passenger carrier Air India on Monday said that it has stopped serving non-vegetarian meals to passengers on board its domestic flights' economy class segment.
"Air India has taken a conscious decision not to have non-vegetarian meal in economy class on its domestic flights," said GP Rao of Air India.This, he said was done the move would help the airline to reduce wastage and cost and to improve its catering services.
