Every state should fix compensation for martyrs' families: Gen VK Singh

New Delhi: Union Minister of State Gen (Retd) VK Singh has said that each state should have separate funds for helping families of the martyrs. Speaking to News 24, General VK Singh that India will give befitting reply to those behind the Uri attacked that killed 18 army soldiers.

Gen Singh said that time has come to ensure that families of the martyrs don't struggle for their daily bread. For this, it is necessary that all states have separate funds to help the families of the bravehearts financially. " It is time to fix a compensation for soldiers who lay down their lives for the nation," Gen Singh added.

On Nawaz Sharif's speech at the UNGA, the minister in the Modi government said that the speech was written by the Pakistan army. He added that the entire world knows that Pakistan gives shelter to the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists.
