New Delhi: A Kochi bound Air India flight from New Delhi conveying 158 travelers got delayed by two hours after a fight broke out between two cabin crew members. The incident occurred on Thursday evening when Air India flight was preparing for Kochi for takeoff. The flight was however bound for Thiruvananthapuram. Taking a note of the incident, Air India has suspended the crew members and an enquiry has been ordered. "We have suspended the two cabin crew members for delaying the flight. We will not tolerate any indiscipline at the airline," Air India Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani told the media. "The airline deeply regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers," he added. According to reports, at first it was an argument over some personal issue between a junior crew member and the second senior crew member, which later transformed into a full scale fight, compelling the authority to mediate. But, when the crew members refused to yield, the operations in control chose to offload them two and send new crew in their place. The flight later took off at around 8 pm.
