With its first look, it is likely to confirm that Arjun will be playing a 30-year-old police officer in the movie, being a part of Delhi Police's special unit. Apparently, Arjun’s character – Satinder Dahiya wants a promotion so that he can play a crucial part in making the law enforcement agency more responsible. In the look, Arjun dons in a serious and killer look of a police officer in a uniform.
In a media confrontation, Arjun stated “Dibakar wanted me to understand the world the character comes from. I also wanted to understand the character’s entire journey. I wanted to know his psychology and why he is the way he is, and why he makes certain extreme choices. But the prep wasn’t easy. The intense training left Arjun dehydrated and exhausted at times. He totally agrees that being a cop is difficult, but the idea was to “understand the cop culture.”
He further added “I got to meet so many fascinating people. Actually, I have been preparing almost for three months now. I am devoting more time for the prep than shooting it. I knew that if I understood this world, I would be able to play the character better.”
