New Delhi: The Noida-based office of Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd - manufacturer of country's "cheapest" smartphone 'Freedom 251' was found locked on Wednesday, further raising questions on the authenticity of their business, said reports.
As per an Economic Times report, Ashok Chadha, the company's president rubbished reports that the company had shut down its business in Noida.
"We are very much in business, and are not running away," said Chadha, promising, "all is well".As per another report by TOI, Ringing Bells office "is not authorised as the plot's allottee has let out the premises without obtaining the rent permission from Noida authority. Clarifying on the issue with Times of India, Chadha said, "The problem with our office has to do with the owner of the plot who seems to be having a issues with the Noida Authority for renting out a property meant for industrial use as a commercial office."
He further told the English daily that the company will shift its office to a nearby location "if the issues are not settled with the Noida authority.
