New Delhi: The wait for the upcoming ICC T20 World cup is about to get over in 3 days. India will play host to the 6th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup series which is slated to commence from the 11th of March. However, amidst this excitement, India cannot afford a security lapse.

On receiving continuous reports from Intelligence Agencies about an impending terrorist activities, India has beefed up its security arrangement. It has decided to keep a close tab on every Pakistani fan who will be visiting the country to attend the matches.

Hence, every Pakistani fan that steps on the Indian soil will be required to complete all the paperwork and present the same before the immigration officer. Only when the documentation concerning the person's match tickets, purpose of visit and the place of stay are verified, India will issue its visa.

This decision is undertaken to ensure that Pakistanis are not generalized as terrorists. Indian agencies do not want to take the risk of terror group infiltration in the name of Pakistani fans.
