"If BJP confident, why delay in election announcement," Hardik

New Delhi, Oct 24: Amidst speculation of the fiery Patidar leader Hardik Patel meeting Congress vic president Rahul Gandhi at a hotel in Ahmadabad, the former has tweeted and informed that he has not met Rahul Gandhi yet, but plans to meet him when he visits Gujarat early next month. Taking a dig at BJP's confidence he said, "If BJP is so confident of winning around 150 seats then why the delay in election announcement?"

“But have patience. Do not support (Congress) just now,” Patel said addressing a public rally at Mandal in north Gujarat, where he reached a couple of hours late on Monday night. Patel called the Congress a “chor” (thief) and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party a “mahachor” (super thief) and said he will support the grand old party in order to defeat the saffron outfit in Gujarat, where the crucial assembly elections are due later this year.

Unfazed by the announcement of his key aides, Hardik Patel said in a tweet he that will continue to fight for the people.

"The centipede will continue to run even if some of his legs break. People are with me, and I will continue to fight for them," he said.
