Lahore: For most cricket fans and Indians, any India-Pakistan is just like a war.But for some cricket fans, the situation becomes a little tense, and actor Saif Ali Khan is one of them. He has deep-rooted connections with Pakistan cricket as of now.
Imagine the piquant situation of Saif. He is son of former Indian captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and nephew of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan.
Shahryar was born in Qasr-e-Sultani, a city in the erstwhile State of Bhopal. He is the only son of Nawab Muhammad Sarwar Ali Khan ( ruler of former princely state of Kurwai) and princess Abida Sultan.
Now,Abida Sultaan was one of the three daughters of Bhopal's last ruler, Nawab Hamidullah Khan. Abida's sister Sajida Sultan was Saif's grandmother, that is. Sajida was Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's mother
So, Saif happens to be a very close relative (nephew) of Shahryar Khan, the current chairman of PCB. It's really a difficult situation for Saif.
