India ready: Army Chief says operational preparedness at South Western Command 'excellent'

Jaipur: With Pakistan Army increasing troop movements towards the international border and LoC, India is readying itself to give a befitting reply in case Pakistan indulges in any misadventure. In this backdrop, Army Chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhaag reviewed the operational preparedness of the Sapta Shakti Command at the Headquarters of the South Western Command here on Wednesday.

 After reviewing the state of preparedness of the Command, the Chief of the Army Staff expressed his deep satisfaction at the excellent state of operational readiness  as well as measures undertaken by the Command to face evolving security challenges, especially along our Western Borders
