In his address, PM Modi said that the contours of global relations have changed after the Second World War. This happened even after the coronavirus pandemic.
"The world appreciated India's efforts during the coronavirus pandemic. The world is looking at India from a new perspective. India is fighting both the challenges of terrorism and expansionism. Answering with courage. We will leave no stone unturned to strengthen the hands of the Indian Army," PM Modi said.
"By doing surgical and air strikes, India has warned the enemies that we are not less than anyone," PM Modi added.
"By conducting surgical strikes and airstrikes, we have given a message of the emergence of a new India to our enemies. It also conveys that India can take tough decisions."
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, without naming China and Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "today the world is looking at India from a new perspective and this vision has two important aspects. One is terrorism and the other is expansionism. India is fighting both these challenges and is also responding with great courage in a tactful manner."
"I am not a prophet, I believe in the fruits of action. I have faith in the youth of the country. I have faith in the sisters and daughters of the country, the farmers of the country, the professionals of the country. This is the can do generation, it can achieve every goal," PM Modi added.
PM Modi said that no obstacle can stop India's dreams and aspirations from being fulfilled in the 21st century.
"Our strength is our vitality, our strength is our solidarity. Our life force, nation first, is always the spirit of first," PM Modi said.
