Ink attack on Kejriwal a conspiracy by BJP, alleges Sisodia

New Delhi: Angry over the ink attack on Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of conspiring against the Delhi CM.

"It was a conspiracy by BJP...BJP, somehow, tries to take advantage of such situation and attack Delhi CM and the cabinet," alleged Sisodia  while addressing mediapersons after the incident.

He also blamed Delhi Police for not providing proper security during the event, which was orgainsed to mark the "success" of odd-even scheme at Chhatrasal stadium in the national capital.

"There was no security provided by Delhi Police," he claimed.

Kejriwal was attacked by a woman when he was delivering a speech during the event. The woman came close to the lectern when Kejriwal was delivering his speech, waved some papers towards him, and then threw ink at the Chief Minister.

The woman has been identified as Bhavna Arora, who claimed to be a member of Aam Aadmi Sena's Punjab unit. Arora claimed that she had "evidence in the form of a CD" that shows AAp's involvement in CNG scam.
