IPL Auction 2018: These STAR players FAILED to find any buyers on DAY 2

New Delhi, Jan 28: On the second days of IPL Auction 2018, young pacer Jaydev Unadkat became the most expensive Indian player when he was bought by Rajasthan Royals here on Sunday. The former IPL champions bought the pacer for Rs 11.5 crore after beating off keen interest from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

However, there are stars players who did not find any buyers even on day 2 of the high profile auction. These big stars include names like Eoin Morgan, Lendl Simmons, Shaun Marsh, Alex Hales. These big guns failed to attract initial bids as they went into the unsold category on Day 2 of the IPL Auction 2018. 

In the bracket of capped batsmen, the franchises failed to make any move for Morgan (with base price of Rs 2 cr), Hales (with base price of Rs 1 cr), Simmons (with base price of Rs 1.5 cr) and, Marsh (with base price of 1.5 cr).

Manish Pandey and Lokesh Rahul were the most expensive Indians at the auction on Saturday as they were sold for identical price of Rs 11 crore.

Meanwhile, England all-rounder Ben Stokes emerged as the most expensive player at the IPL auction for the second year running when he was taken by Rajasthan for Rs 12.5 crore.
