New Delhi, May 11: After Kings XI Punjab failed to chase down an easy total of 159 on Sunday against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur there was one more trouble coming near the Ravichandran Ashwin led side.
According to some media reports suggesting there might be falling out between KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta and team mentor Virender Sehwag due to the loss.
The actress was questioning Sehwag about his team tactics after skipper Ravichandran Ashwin was sent in at number three, ahead of more accomplished batsmen such as Karun Nair and Manoj Tiwari which led him to fall for a duck against Rajasthan Royals.
According to the same reports, this isn't the first time these two have been in a spat.
But now Preity has cleared the air, she took to Twitter and clarified all these things. She tweeted, "Mumbai Mirror gets it wrong again because we didn’t do Media net & pay them to write articles cuz that’s the only time they get it right. A conversation between Viru & me has been blown out of proportion & suddenly I’m a Villian ! Wow ! #fakenews".
