New Delhi, Feb 24: Indian team captain Virat Kohli’s record-breaking runs are all set to continue ahead of the final Twenty20 against South Africa today.
Recently, Virat Kohli became the first batsman to go past 500 runs in a bilateral ODI series after having collected 558 runs in six matches against South Africa. He also became the top-scorer in a bilateral 50-over series as captain.
Kohli had a bad time with the bat in the two T20s so far, having scored just 26 runs.
However, the Indian skipper will be the first from the country to get to 2000 T20I runs and the third batsman overall to achieve the record.
Kohli needs only 17 more runs to celebrate the achievement and could do so in the ending match of the tour.
