New Delhi, Nov 28: Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio has always ruled Indian telecom industry since its launch and has always put pressure on the other companies with their regular changes in the offer to make it more profitable for the users. Doing so the rival companies are forced to come up with revised plans or leave market share.
In a latest to counter Jio plans Idea has made some changes in their plans.
To take on the Jio, Idea has upgraded its Rs. 309 plan within a month of its launch and will now offer 50 percent more data. Earlier users used to get 1Gb per day in Rs 309 plan but now will get 1.5 GB per day
This brings up the total bundled data for the validity period from 28GB to 42GB. Other details of the plan remain the same as before. Idea's new plan comes just a few days after Jio launched the Rs. 199 plan, which offers 1.2GB data per day as well as other freebies for 28 days.

Apart from this users will get 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week, post free minutes users will need to pay one paisa per second. Similarly, free SMS are limited to 100 and post the limit, the users will be charged at Re. 1 per local SMS. Along with these, users get free outgoing calls on roaming, and this plan has a validity of 28 days.
