New Delhi, Dec 27: After ruling the telecom sector and igniting data price war Reliance Jio moved in phone business with its JioPhone dubbed as India Ka Smartphone which is effectively free for buyers as they can return it after three years and get back the initial amount of Rs 1500 after fulfiling the terms and conditions.
Jio's competitors have been fighting neck to neck in data prices and now BSNL has come with its own feature phone at an effective price of Rs 499.
For this BSNL has done a partnership with Detel to launch Detel D1 feature phone which comes with a price tag which is one-third of JioPhone.
The buyers will get Detel D1 with initial plan of Rs 153 plan which means this feature phone would actually cost only Rs 349.
If Rs 153 plan in Detel D1 is concerned, the buyers will get a talk time of Rs 103. For voice calls users will be charged 15paise per minute for calling on any BSNL number and 40 paise per minute for calls to other networks. For the first time, the validity of the plan will be 365 days.
