New Delhi, Feb 26: Reliance Jio has been dominating the telecom sector since its launch, the company not only comes new and best plans at regular intervals to woo new customers and to keep it's customers intact with the company. By this Jio keeps on creating pressure on the other telecom companies to come up with new plans or leave market share.
In a latest, if media reports to be believed, Vodafone India is planning to launch two new monthly prepaid plans of Rs. 549 and Rs. 799 offering 3.5GB and 4.5GB data per day, respectively. Vodafone's Rs. 549 will take on Jio's Rs. 509 plan that offers 3GB data per day for 28 days, while the Rs. 799 plan will compete against Jio's Rs. 799 pack that offers 5GB data per day with 28 days validity.
If calculated at 3.5GB data per day, Vodafone's Rs. 549 will give 98GB of 4G data for 28 days while Rs. 799 plan will offer 126GB of 4G data. Apart from the data, the plan also includes unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls and 100 SMSes per day. Like Jio users get a free subscription to Jio apps, Vodafone will also offer a free subscription to Vodafone Play.
Although company dubs it as unlimited voice calls with the new plans but both plans are reported to come with a restriction of 250 minutes of voice calls per day, 1,000 minutes per week and limited to only 300 unique numbers.
