New Delhi, September 4: To take on Reliance Jio, Vodafone India has announced two new recharge packs worth Rs 99 and Rs 109. Both the plans will come bundled with unlimited voice calling benefits with a validity period of 28 days. The Rs 109 plan will also come with data benefits for the users. However, the thing to note here is that these new Vodafone plans will reportedly come with daily and weekly FUP limits.
Rs 99 and Rs 109 plan in detail
As per the media reports, both the Vodafone plans worth Rs. 99 and Rs. 109 will offer unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls. Apart from unlimited calling, the Rs. 109 recharge pack will also come with 1GB of 3G/ 4G data. The validity of both the plans will be 28 days. However, the important thing to note here is that the unlimited voice calls may come with FUP limits of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes weekly. As per the report, the user may also get another condition restricting to make calls to 100 unique numbers during the validity period.
Clearly, both the new plans offered by the company are for the users who prefer calling over data benefits. If competitor plans are concerned,
Jio offers recharge pack worth Rs. 98 which offers 2GB of 4G data, unlimited calling without any FUP limit and 300 SMSes valid for 28 days.On the other hand, BSNL has a plan worth Rs. 99 that offers unlimited calling and roaming valid for 26 days(except for Mumbai and Delhi circles)
