New Delhi, Jan 22: Reliance Jio has been ruling the telecom industry ever since its launch and created a stir in data pricing. Jio not only comes with revised plans at regular intervals but also force its competitors to come up with a better plan or leave market share.
In the latest Airtel has revised its Rs 399 prepaid plan increasing the data limit for its subscribers. The new change in the plan is seen to take on Reliance Jio's Rs 398 plan.
After revision of the plan, now Airtel's Rs 399 plan will offer 84 GB data with a daily limit of 1GB for a validity of 84 days whereas earlier it was for 70 days. The plan also includes 100 free SMS and voice calls even in roaming.
If compared with Jio's Rs 398 plan, that offers 1.5GB 4G data per day, unlimited calls, 100 SMSes per day with a validity of 70 days. Overall, Jio's Rs. 398 plan offers 105GB data while Airtel's Rs 399 offers 84GB data for 84 days.
