New Delhi, Jan 2: Reliance Jio has been ruling the Indian telecom industry since its launch and has always put pressure on the other companies with their regular changes in the offer to make it more profitable for the users. Doing so the rival companies are forced to come up with revised plans or leave market share.
In a latest to counter Jio plans Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 799 plan for the users who require more data per day. Revised 799 plan of Airtel will now offer 3.5GB data per day whereas earlier it was 3GB a day. Jio's Rs 799 plan still offers 3GB of 4G data a daily basis. Both companies offer same validity of 28 days at Rs. 799, so if compared Jio users will now get 14GB less data compared to Airtel subscribers.
Apart from the data, Airtel users will get unlimited local, STD calling, free roaming and 100 local and national SMS on a daily basis. However, the important thing to note is that Airtel users in this plan are restricted to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week.
