New Delhi, 25 Oct: Reliance Jio who has been ruling the telecom industry since its launch has been giving surprises to its customers with revising its plans and offers. In its recent move, Jio's 491 plan that was launched as Diwali special tariff has received a price hike within few days of its release.
Rs 491 plan offers 91GB bundled data, limiting users to 1GB per day for 91 days. The plan was priced at Rs. 491 till Monday, but on Wednesday morning the tariff has been revised to Rs. 499.
This company's plan comes with the longest validity at present across prepaid and postpaid plans in the industry – 91 days.
At present, the plan is not listed on official Jio website but Jio users can recharge it via their MyJio app.
If the user doesn't find Rs 491 plan attractive they can opt from for Rs. 459 and Rs. 509 plans. The Rs. 459 Jio plan offers 84GB data for 84 days if compared with Rs 491 plan it has a difference of 7 days in validity and Rs. 40. The Rs. 509 plan offers 2GB data a day for 49 days. All three plans are bundled up with freebies the company has been offering since it launched like free calls and SMSes and access to Jio apps.
