JNU row: Rahul Gandhi meets president, alleges RSS of imposing ideology on students

New Delhi: Amidst the raging JNU row, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by senior party leaders, met President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday alleging that RSS is trying to impose its ideology on students.


“The RSS is trying to impose a dead ideology on the students of this nation. We won't let that happen,” Rahul said after submitting a memorandum to the President, in which he highlighted the “government’s complete failure” in restoring law and order in Delhi’s Patiala House Court and the way government had dealt with JNU row as also the Rohith Vemula suicide and the agitation in FTII in Pune.
