New Delhi, Oct 10: Festival of lights is just some days away but unfortunately, legendary star Amitabh Bachchan announced how he will not be celebrating Diwali or his 75th birthday, which falls on October 11 this year.
No valid reason has been given by Big B, reports suggest it might be due to daughter-in-law, Aishwarya's Rai Bachchan's father's death after many days of sheer illness in March.
"India thrashes Australia in T20, Pink Panthers' extraordinary convincing win, thunderstorm cancels shoot, 30 million on Twitter, and just for your information... no Diwali celebration this year," Amitabh tweeted on Saturday night.
He further added to his blog and stated "No, there is no celebration of any kind for the 75th and there's no possibility of my presence here in the city. They speculate...They aver they get to know from their 'sources', details which can be completely wrong at times... one wishes to be those sources - for us, never ever know who or what they are,"
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen with Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan produced by Aditya Chopra.
